So on Monday evening, myself and some other people who I worked with on my most recent production ‘Captive’ attended a Media event at the FACT Cinema in Liverpool. The event was held as a celebration of the 3rd year work at university and as well as to announce the winner of the Paul Cannon Award 2011 for best film.

Three films were nominated and to our surprise, ‘Captive’ was one of them. Unfortunately our film didn’t win the award but it was still a great honor to discover our film had been deemed good enough to have been nominated. It was a great night out and a brilliant accomplishment to have experienced.
